Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Primal Planner. to manage all aspects of the primal planning at Hilton Foods Canada, to achieve the required Hilton standards of customer service level, production and primal movements, cost control and primal optimization, and to be a strong participant and team player within the Planning team, to Buying, Logistics and Operations team. Main activities of the business processes - Create and maintain the forecast of the primal requirements (Primal Advise) - Create and maintain the short horizon primal plan (day +0 and day +1) - Tracking availability from suppliers - Secures all primal are available in time, quantity, and quality - Check on primal availability during the day - Check primal SLED and maturations - Maintain and provide shortage/low code reports - Involved in yield performances (from Production) - Monitoring supplier performances Other Activities, responsibilities and tasks - Providing suggestions to improve the call-off/Buying processes - Part of a positive working environment - Providing clear results to the Planning manager (reports) - Track stock management of primal - Highlights potential primal issues to Planning manager/management - Checks deliveries during day and week - Communication with Buying/Intake/Production - Create and maintain a primal requirement plan by using the Quintiq application, Foods Connected ERP, and procedures - Ability to reschedule the daily primal planning - Tracking primal stock levels, shelf live and maturations on a daily base. - Signalling function of potential issues in shortages and lowcodes - Communication with suppliers, providing forecast and consolidating quantities and delivery dates. - Tracking deliveries from suppliers (day/quantity) - Be involved in stock control, procurement and logistics at site.Proactively identify stock shortages, communicating and resolving the issues and advising Planning manager in regarding of purchasing and/or other departments of potential service issues. - Ensure efficient primal plans and timely communication of primal planning data to relevant departments. - Participates in meetings - Participates in the roster to execute daily operation tasks - Able to cover targeted tasks of other planning team members in case of absence - Tracking yields from Production - Communication within the team and surrounding departments - Maintain and report primal KPI’s KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Knowledgeable with primal - Ability and proven experience in Planning - Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, retail sector - Experience with ERP systems - Experience in S&OP Hilton Foods Canada is committed to building a culture of diversity and inclusion and are committed to providing equal opportunities to all employees.
