Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Registered Nurse position for the Emergency Department.
The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll
The duration of this temporary contract would be approximately until September 1, 2026, or sooner as determined by RRHS
Position Summary:
The Night Attendant monitors alarms, initiates overhead pages, participates in response to codes and emergency alarms, allows patients and caregivers and emergency responders entrance to the hospital, completes security checks and periodic tours of the hospital.
Qualifications Required:
- OSSD - Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma in Police Foundations or Protection, Security and Investigation or equivalent deemed acceptable to the Hospital is preferred
- Licensed as a Security Guard in the Province of Ontario
- Basic Life Support (BLS Certification)
- Previous healthcare security experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience
- Able to work independently
- Excellent standards of ethical conduct, demonstrating honesty and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent decision-making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitudes that demonstrated AH values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other team members
Other pertinent conditions:
- Salary per the Non-union salary schedule ($35.67 per hour)
