Job description
Role: Technology Architect Salary: $120,000 to $154,300 Location: 4 days on-site in Ville Saint‑Laurent or Georgetown Your New Company Our client is a leading global organization undergoing significant digital and infrastructure transformation across its manufacturing operations. With a strong focus on innovation, reliability, and scalability, the organization is investing heavily in modernizing its IT/OT landscape to support growth and operational excellence. You will be joining a highly collaborative and forward-thinking architecture team that partners closely with infrastructure, security, digital, and business stakeholders across North America. Your New Role As an IT Architect, Manufacturing (OT), you will play a key role in shaping and governing technical architecture across infrastructure and operational technology environments. Reporting to the IT Director, Infrastructure Management & Innovation, you will lead the intake process for infrastructure and systems (I&S), from initial demand through high-level solutioning and architectural design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Digital, Core Infrastructure, PMO, and regional service delivery, acting as a trusted advisor on architecture decisions. This role will also focus on developing standards, leading solution design, conducting architecture reviews, and maintaining technology roadmaps aligned to business priorities. What You’ll Need to Succeed - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure architecture, design, and implementation - Proven experience within OT (Operational Technology) environments (3–5 years), either in consulting or internal roles - Deep expertise across at least two infrastructure domains (e.g., network, compute, security, storage, DR), with broad cross-domain knowledge - Strong experience with IT/OT architecture assessments, roadmap development, and target architecture design - Hands-on experience leading solution architecture, POCs, and high-level design across complex environments - Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance processes - Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft 365) - Expertise in network architecture and security, including technologies such as DDoS protection, IPS, and PCI compliance - Certification: CCNA (required) | CCNP or equivalent preferred - Familiarity with IT security best practices; certifications such as CISSP are an asset - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams - Ability to produce both high-level and detailed technical documentation and solution designs What You’ll Get in Return - Opportunity to lead and influence enterprise-scale IT/OT transformation initiatives - Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and evolving manufacturing digitalization strategies - A highly collaborative architecture team working across global stakeholders - Competitive compensation and benefits package - A hybrid work environment with strong emphasis on leadership visibility and impact - Career growth within a large, stable, and innovation-driven organization What You Need to Do Now If you’re an experienced IT/OT Architect looking to make a meaningful impact in a large-scale manufacturing environment, apply directly or reach out for a confidential discussion.
