Rate: Hourly Job description We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, or similar tier-one ERP such as SAP S/4HANA, JD Edwards, to support and enhance our global retail finance systems. This role partners closely with Finance and Technology teams to improve processes, deliver system enhancements, and ensure the stability and accuracy of our financial platforms. Key Responsibilities - Serve as SME for Oracle EBS Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, Costing) and integrations to external systems such as Coupa, GTNexus, Accruent (Lucernex) - Lead discovery and fit-gap workshops to document current and future state - Translate needs into Agile-ready requirements by writing epics, features, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria in JIRA, maintain decision logs, process documentation, and functional specs in Confluence - Responsible for configuring and maintaining Oracle EBS Financials modules to support business & compliance requirements. - Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes across regions to support global standardization. - Perform detailed functional and technical analysis to support system configurations, integrations and customizations. - Oversee and coordinate testing activities, including test planning, test script creation, UAT cycles, and defect management. - Conduct root-cause analysis and ensure remediation and long-term fixes. - Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable system delivery. - Required Qualifications - 7–10+ years of business and systems analysis experience - Proficiency using JIRA for requirements/user stories and Confluence for documentation, traceability and knowledge management - Strong understanding of core accounting concepts & operational finance processes - Demonstrated experience delivering in an Agile/Scrum environment, including backlog refinement, sprint planning support & iterative releases, assess cross team/systems dependencies and conflict resolution - Deep functional & hands on knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials or similar Tier-1 ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft etc.) - Strong understanding of retail finance processes - Experience with QA activities (functional testing, regression testing, SIT, UAT). - Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. - Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Plusses: - Experience doing integrations to external systems such as Coupa, GTNexus, Accruent (Lucernex) - Accounting certifications preferred - Experience working in person in most recent role
