For our client in the financial sector, we are currently looking for IST Data Enablement Analyst.
Job Responsibilities
• Partner with cross divisional, technology product owners, and firm data office teams for the global regulatory program delivering data quality reporting on critical reporting. Engages and works closely with Firmwide Data Office to enhance strategic tooling for Cataloging & Lineage.
• Partners with software engineers to liaise and clear up any intended outcomes and available data governance tools, data quality integration, and data lineage. Must have JIRA familiarity on reporting, managing and issue tracking.
• Can create presentations, documentation and artifacts to support progress, including working with large data files (excel advances usage of pivots, dashboard and BI) to drive discussions for troubleshooting outputs (as needed). Ensures SDLC project concepts, and operating models (Agile & Waterfall) are understood.
• Familiarize and understand Data Architecture & Management principles and requirements of the BCBS 239 framework and Firms
• Data Policy along with responsibilities and commitments within the Application Development organization.
Skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills must have attention to detail and quality.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft tools, Sharepoint, jive, confluence and JIRA, team collaboration via online tools
• Understand technical solutions and apply them in similar situations; though not a coding position, the candidate needs to be able to work at an API and configuration level. Any exposure to AI capabilities is a plus (not required).
• Expresses and influences complex ideas and deliverables in a simple way. Polished and articulated in their messaging.
• Demonstrates initiative, judgment and decision making; someone that is present and can handle multiple priorities. Demonstration of working independently.
• Also has the knack to work collaboratively and can propose ideas and concepts. Ownership and accountability are pride she/he takes seriously.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts of cataloging, ownership, lineage, and data quality
• Experience working in a global team matrixed organization in multiple locations ideally in the finance industry.
• Familiar with data governance and regulatory requirements a plus (BCBS239, GDPR, CCPA, ECB Testing, etc).
• Preferred: Banking and Financial Services industry, with previous experience as a Business or Data Analyst with strong communication written and verbal
