Job descriptionTalent Acquisition Partner Burnaby- HYBRID PERM 100-120K Responsibilities: - Provides leadership to assigned employees to promote motivation and teamwork and to ensure the provision of a skilled workforce by: - setting clear performance objectives for each team member, monitoring skills and abilities of the team members, providing informal coaching and mentoring support for the assigned employees. - conducting regular formal coaching sessions to review individual performance, conducting formal performance reviews to identify strengths and challenges. - overseeing training and career development activities for the team. - conducting regular team meetings to facilitate open communication. - Maintains appropriate and effective staffing levels of the team through effective workforce planning, interviewing and selecting employees as required. - Monitors attendance and performance of employees, and addresses concerns through effective administration of the - Performance Management and Attendance Management Program as required. Participates in the progressive discipline process as required. - Leads and executes PBC’s enterprise Talent Acquisition strategy, aligning priorities with organizational goals and future workforce needs. - 6. - Acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, influencing talent decisions through evidence-based insights and workforce data. - Partners across functions to design integrated, long-term talent solutions that drive attraction, retention, and internal mobility. - Champions transformation initiatives that enhance Talent Acquisition capability, service delivery, and organizational impact. - Contributes to strategic workforce planning and talent forecasting to anticipate evolving business needs. - Builds enterprise capability by enabling hiring leaders through training in interviewing excellence, inclusive hiring, assessment practices, and data-informed decision-making. - Leads, coaches, and inspires Talent Acquisition team and fosters a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous improvement, and accountability. - Manages performance, develops talent, and creates succession pathways within the Talent Acquisition function. - Leads and executes end-to-end recruitment across all client groups and roles, ensuring consistent, fair, and high-quality processes aligned with governance standards. - Designs and evolves targeted inclusive sourcing strategies for diverse internal and external talent pools, advancing diversity, equity, and belonging. - Delivers exceptional employee and hiring leader experiences across the employment lifecycle while fostering a culture that values talent, development, and engagement. - Manages recruitment vendors and partners to ensure alignment, value, and performance excellence. - Leverages data, analytics, and key performance metrics to continuously refine talent strategies and drive measurable outcomes. - Harnesses recruitment technology (e.g., ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled sourcing tools) and implement process improvements to enable efficient, scalable, and high-quality Talent Acquisition operations. Qualifications: - Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or related field; CPHR or in progress preferred - 5–8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including 2–3 years in recruitment leadership and full-cycle recruitment in complex or fast-paced environments. - Proven ability to advise senior leaders, influence stakeholders, and translate talent strategies into measurable business outcomes. - Expertise in strategic sourcing, non-traditional pipeline development, recruitment technology (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools), data analysis, and process improvement. - Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills. - Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and inclusive hiring practices. - Demonstrated success leveraging analytics and metrics to guide decision-making and optimize talent acquisition outcomes “AI may be used to screen, assess or select applicants for this position”.
