As the province’s largest energy provider with more than 100 years of knowledge and experience, we proudly deliver renewable energy, natural gas, electricity and propane to 1.3 million customers.

We're actively seeking new talent to join our mission of delivering a stronger energy future in B.C. As one of BC's Top Employers with a diverse team of over 2,800 employees, we are committed to a safe and inclusive culture where each of us can connect, belong, and grow. Join us, and together, let's shape a brighter future for B.C.

Position Overview

Self-driven and motivated, you’re an individual who thrives on working with others to problem-solve and find solutions. You enjoy collaborating and working with various teams to build exceptional partnerships to deliver and achieve business objectives. Add in your ability to juggle multiple projects and knack for seeing the big picture; you’re an excellent fit for our role of Program Specialist, Commercial and Industrial.

In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial and industrial rebates, drive our conservation programs and nurture customer-centric experiences. You’ll develop integral partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet their needs and uphold our program requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate and deliver our commercial and industrial programs by developing a working knowledge of these programs, processes and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver world-class customer service to all program stakeholders.
  • Prepare business cases and reporting for new programs or modifications to existing programs including justification and cost-effectiveness analysis.

What it takes:

  • A diploma in marketing, communications or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience in program development.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering an elite level of customer service with program stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
  • Extremely self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Solutions-oriented with a proven track record of working well with various teams.
  • A 'get it done right' and 'can do' perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.

Additional Information

This position will require some travel away from the base office to within the geographic area of coverage.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
