Job description
Join a unique co-op placement focusing on transmission lines engineering in Toronto. This 12-16 month temporary role involves hands-on experience in design and technical support.

Ideal candidates are university students who have completed at least two years in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include creating designs for high voltage lines, monitoring proposal statuses, and assisting engineers on various projects. You will also gain insights into the Ontario Transmission Grid System and enhance your skills in SAP and Excel.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and analyze overhead transmission lines and cables • Track and update PMP requests for land use • Manage asset registries for transmission components in SAP • Help engineers with technical and administrative tasks • Collaborate on projects related to transmission line design

Requirements: • Must have completed two or more years in engineering studies • Enrollment in university education is mandatory • Strong communication skills essential • Familiarity with Microsoft tools like Excel and Access • Prepared to return to studies after the work term
