About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Make Ready Centre, the Supervisor, Make Ready Centre oversees the Make Ready Center (MRC) employees, responding to internal and external Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) needs with timely sourcing of new CDE, efficiently completing CDE repairs, and effectively disposing of CDE write-offs. This role is also responsible for parts management, CDE inventory management, and CDE transportation management. The Supervisor, MRC will ensure CDE customer fulfillment and quality control measures, meeting and exceeding the needs of MRC customers.
The Supervisor, MRC also manages equipment metrics to improve equipment turn-around times, protects company assests as outlined by internal audit, and is responsible for the safety of all employees within their area of responsibility. This position manages within a labour pool that is approximately 75% technically skilled labour.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual budget plan as outlined by Senior management
- Demand excellence in performance, meeting and exceeding key metrics within a positive, safe and inclusive work environment
- Develop and execute a Departmental Business Plan that is in line with short-term and long-term company strategy
- Supportive Leadership, clearly communicating the Vision, Mission, Imperatives and Values of CCCBL

- Coach and mentor direct reports in a constructive environment, allowing for individual growth and development
- Ethical participation with internal and external customers including Original Equipment Manufacturers, adhering to all internal control procedures
- Focus in areas of personal development, supported by a mindset of continuous improvement
- Develop and share best practice through a cadence of scheduled communication strategies
- Support People Management process, in line with company standards
- Manage equipment inventory and parts inventory variances
- Manage quality issues from sales
- Manage Key Improvement Processes for Make Ready process
- Manage outside contractors (if used) to transport equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in equipment service or supply chain
- Strong time management, organizational, scheduling and forecasting skills
- Ability to model positive leadership attitude, even in the face of difficult circumstances
- Experience with labour relations
- Computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications
- Conflict resolution skills
- SAP and logistics knowledge
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
