Job description
Family Assistant / Meal Prep Support – Teichrib Family Courtenay, BC Part-Time or Flexible Full-Time Opportunity We are a busy family in the Comox Valley looking for a reliable, organized, and positive person to help support our home and family routines. Both parents are business owners, and we’re looking for someone who can help reduce day-to-day household stress by assisting primarily with meal prep, groceries, and family organization. This is not a strict “nanny-only” position or a formal restaurant-chef role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating a calm, organized home environment and helping a busy family stay on track. About Our Family We have three school-aged children (12, 11, and 7) who attend school in Cumberland. We value healthy food, good communication, reliability, and a relaxed but well-run household. Primary Responsibilities * Weekly meal planning and grocery organization * Preparing healthy family dinners and some ready-to-go meals * School lunch and snack prep * Keeping kitchen and food areas clean and organized * Grocery shopping and household supply restocking * Light housekeeping related to meal prep and family flow * Occasional school pickup/drop-off assistance * Helping maintain a smooth weekly routine for the household Ideal Fit You may be a great fit if you: * Enjoy cooking healthy, family-style meals * Are organized and proactive * Can work independently without needing constant direction * Are good with children and comfortable around a busy family environment * Have experience with meal prep, household assistance, nannying, hospitality, or personal assistant work * Appreciate flexibility and variety in your work Schedule Flexible and open to discussion depending on the right fit. Potential schedule options include: * Part-time weekday support * Consistent weekly meal prep and household assistance * Expanded hours for the right candidate We are open to designing the role around someone exceptional. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, responsibilities, and availability. Location Primarily based in Courtenay, BC.
