Statement:
Seeking a seasonal full-time Dispatcher (until mid-to-late September 2026) to work in a busy office environment, performing a variety of administrative tasks, scheduling and dispatching for the operation, and providing customer service.
Reporting to the Operations Team, you will work within a group of professionals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is responsible for delivering a broad range of dispatch and administrative functions to support safe, efficient, and reliable transit operations, including HandyDART and On-Demand services.

- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00 pm (on-site)
Knowledge and Experience:
- Business Communications experience is considered an asset.
- Previous work-related experience with social media platforms is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Previous administrative experience is required.

Key Accountabilities:
Dispatch & Operations
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor radio communications and facilitate communication between drivers and supervisors
- Perform HandyDART and custom transit service scheduling
- Post service alerts (, delays, detours) through apps or social media platforms
Customer Service & Communication
- Respond to public and driver inquiries, identifying solutions to concerns
- Maintain clear and timely communication with staff regarding operational issues, changes, and updates
- Ensure fair and consistent treatment of drivers, in accordance with the Driver’s Handbook and company policies
Administrative & Support Functions
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and general administrative tasks
- Complete data entry and maintain accurate operational records
- Ensure all required paperwork and requests are completed accurately and on time
- Support front-line office and reception duties as required
Continuous Improvement
- Assist in creating and improving operational systems and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
