We are seeking an experiencedDatabase Administratorto manage and optimize on-premiseOracle Autonomous Database (Oraas),MongoDB, andBig Datasystems, with a focus onmodernizingthese databases to private cloud solutions. This role requires strong expertise in database administration, high availability, migration strategies, and cloud-based database services. Candidates with hands-on experience in Starburst, Iceberg, or Databricks are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimizeon-premise databases (Oraas,MongoDB,Big Data).
Implementhigh availability,disaster recovery, andperformance tuningfor both on-premise and cloud environments.
Developbackup/recovery strategiesand ensure compliance with security standards.
Automate database management tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Lead database migrationstoAWSandGDP Database Services, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Monitor and managecloud resources inAWSandGDP, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful cloud migrations and integrations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience withOracle Autonomous Database,MongoDB, andBig Datasystems.
Expertise inhigh availability,disaster recovery,performance tuning, andcloud integration.
Strong background inmigrating databasestoAWSandGDP.
Proficiency inPL/SQL,NoSQL, and cloud resource management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills."
