Job description
Take on a pivotal role at the Weston Family Foundation in Toronto as the Head, Northern. Guide critical initiatives with a focus on biodiversity while managing a substantial $16M portfolio. This senior leadership position provides the opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders and innovative projects that aim to improve northern biodiversity. You will leverage your experience to ensure impactful decision-making and support the strategic direction of the Northern Committee, enhancing the Foundation's role in conservation efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a $16M+ budget dedicated to biodiversity • Create comprehensive, evidence-based programs • Find innovative, high-reward conservation projects • Facilitate discussions for the Northern Committee • Collaborate on strategic communication initiatives Requirements: • Degree in related environmental fields • 10+ years in senior roles across diverse sectors • Experience in managing large budgets • Proven success in program execution • Excellent governance engagement skills Be at the forefront of advancing Canada's environmental landscape through strong leadership and innovative conservation strategies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
