Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 base + RRSP + benefits

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected heavy civil contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across Ontario.
We are seeking a Project Scheduler with experience supporting large-scale heavy civil construction projects including transit, municipal infrastructure, underground utilities, roadworks, structures, and major infrastructure assignments. This role is ideal for a scheduling professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and wants exposure to some of Ontario’s most impactful civil construction projects.
Based in the GTA, you will support multiple active and upcoming projects throughout Ontario while working closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership teams.

The Role
As the Project Scheduler, you will play a key role in supporting project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting across multiple heavy civil infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and senior operations leadership to develop and maintain project schedules while helping ensure projects remain aligned with critical milestones and overall delivery objectives.
This role offers exposure to all phases of project execution, from pre-construction planning through construction and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules for heavy civil infrastructure projects
- Support project planning and sequencing activities across multiple active projects
- Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to track progress and identify schedule risks
- Assist with baseline schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, and schedule analysis
- Monitor project milestones, productivity, and critical path activities
- Prepare schedule updates, reports, and progress presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Support tender planning and pre-construction scheduling activities
- Coordinate scheduling information across operations, estimating, and field teams
- Identify schedule impacts and assist with mitigation planning
- Participate in project meetings and planning sessions
- Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and reporting processes
Who You Are
- 3+ years of scheduling experience within heavy civil or infrastructure construction
- Strong experience supporting projects involving:
- Transit infrastructure
- Roads and highways
- Sewer & watermain
- Underground utilities
- Bridges and structures
- Large-scale municipal or transportation projects
- Proficient with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery processes
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Engineering, Construction Management, or related educational background is considered an asset
- Experience working with complex, multi-phase infrastructure projects is highly desirable
