Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Chef who is passionate about creating memorable, nutritious, and delicious dining experiences for seniors in our warm, welcoming care home community. If you're ready to lead with creativity and care, this role is for you.
Your Role as Executive Chef:
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will:
- Lead all culinary operations, ensuring residents enjoy meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also delight the senses.
- Develop innovative, resident-focused menus that celebrate fresh, local ingredients with a fine dining flair.
- Manage kitchen staff with inspiring leadership and foster a collaborative, respectful work environment.
- Oversee budgets, inventory, supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor your team to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.

What We're Looking For:
- Red Seal certification
- Minimum 2-year diploma in Food Service Supervision or equivalent
- Proven senior-level experience in large-scale food preparation, ideally within care homes, hospitality, or restaurant management
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and positive workplace culture
- Expertise in budget management, inventory control, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in computer software related to food service operations
- A passion for culinary innovation and exceptional dining experiences
