Position Title: Food & Beverage Manager Company Name: The Lodge at Arrow Lakes | CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures Reports To: Hotel Manager Terms of Employment: Full-time, year-round , Salary Posting Close Date: This posting will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. The earliest posting close date would be April 30, 2026. The Food & Beverage Manager supports the Hotel Manager in the day to day operation of the lodge, with primary responsibility for the Food & Beverage program including front of house service and culinary. This role provides leadership and oversight to ensure the department operates efficiently, delivers exceptional guest experiences and contributes meaningfully to overall financial performance. The position requires a balance of hands on operational leadership and administrative oversight, including team supervision, problem solving and continuous improvement of service standards. Along with a year-round hotel, pub and dining room, The Lodge at Arrow Lakes is also host to the CMH Kootenay Heli-Skiing operation during winter months. Support the Hotel Manager in providing direction, performance feedback and ongoing coaching to develop and lead the team. Act as a key point of contact for F&B operations, supporting the Hotel Manager in departmental coordination. Ensure F&B service standards are consistently delivered and aligned with brand expectations. Oversee inventory management, ordering processes and cost controls within F&B operations. Support menu development, product costing and overall F&B program execution. Maintain all liquor licences and service compliance with liquor laws. Ensure full compliance with all BC food safety regulations and standards. Maintain a strong working knowledge of all hotel roles to support operational effectiveness and team alignment. Partner with the Hotel Manager to uphold company policies related to Occupational Health & Safety, including WorkSafe BC and WHMIS compliance. Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across operations. Act as Duty Manager in the absence of Hotel Manager. Post-secondary education in hospitality, travel and tourism or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the Food & Beverage industry. Food Safe Certificate. This position will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business, seasonal workloads, and hotel/restaurant bookings. This position is based out of a quaint, fairly remote town in the West Kootenay region of BC. During these times of change, this position requires flexibility and willingness to accept new responsibilities and potentially transfer others.
