YARD MAINTENANCE

Location: St. Marys and Renfrew, ON

Type: Fulltime, Permanent

Delta Power Equipment is a full-service farm and construction equipment dealership with 450+ employees across Ontario. We are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team as a Yard Maintenance team member.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position is responsible for maintaining the yard, property, equipment, and materials to help ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment. You will play an important role in supporting daily operations by keeping the yard running efficiently.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Perform general building and property maintenance
• Maintain the yard, including landscaping and snow removal
• Inspect returned equipment and materials to ensure they are in good working condition
• Store tools, equipment, and materials in an organized manner
• Support yard inventory systems and maintain accurate organization
• Operate and move equipment as needed
• Help maintain a safe and tidy work environment
• Serve as a main contact for field personnel, materials, and small tools in the yard

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Self-starter with strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Valid D driver’s license, with A/AR considered an asset
• Experience pulling a trailer is an asset
• Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery is an asset
• Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Local travel may be required
• Overtime as needed
• Exposure to hazards associated with the trade
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying supplies
• Safety equipment required, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
