Job description

Our client is a large and rapidly growing international manufacturing organization, and they are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Contract) to support their finance team during a period of increased operational demand. This is an immediate opening for a finance professional who enjoys working across treasury, FP&A, reporting, and process improvement initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This 2–3 month contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on analyst who can quickly integrate with the team and provide support across multiple finance functions. The successful candidate will work closely with finance leadership and business unit stakeholders across a complex global organization operating through multiple legal entities and banking relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Support
  • Update and maintain bank account and loan registers, including supporting documentation
  • Upload and organize documentation within the contract management system
  • Support insurance renewal processes through information gathering and coordination with business units
  • Assist with bank account openings
  • Investigate and help resolve banking-related inquiries as needed
  • Support treasury documentation and internal control initiatives across multiple legal entities

FP&A Support
  • Compile and consolidate monthly outlook submissions from business units
  • Consolidate monthly flash reporting packages across the organization
  • Assist with quarterly forecast roll-forwards, consolidated forecast files, and capex templates
  • Review capex submissions for completeness and accuracy and follow up on variances
  • Perform analytical reviews and quality checks on financial reports and workbooks

Reporting & Accounting Support
  • Refresh and distribute monthly reporting packages
  • Update monthly entries within Cognos and related Excel reporting files
  • Assist with bookkeeping support and general ledger reconciliations
  • Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects, including lease accounting initiatives

Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and spreadsheet auditing/review
  • Ideally, experience with internal controls or audit environment.
  • Ideally experience with internal controls or audit-related work
  • Strong communication
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Available to start immediately
