Job description
Make an impact at Hydro One as the Director of Facilities Management. Oversee extensive real estate operations, including planning, compliance, and sustainable practices in facility management. In this senior role, you will manage over 1,500 buildings and 50 leased sites, implementing strategic plans and capital investments aligned with corporate objectives. Your leadership will foster collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, enhancing operational efficiency and building positive relationships. Key Responsibilities: • Direct maintenance and operations of all company facilities • Establish capital investment plans and operating budgets • Manage leases and ensure regulatory compliance for real estate • Develop energy efficiency and sustainable practices • Provide performance reports to senior leadership Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in utilities • General university degree; facilities management focus an asset • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Strong understanding of regulations affecting the utility sector • Experience in a unionized environment preferred Guide Hydro One’s real estate strategy, enhancing operational success and stakeholder engagement across all facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
