What is in it for you:
•Hourly salary of $ 30-32, based on experience.
• Contract duration of years.
• Full-time position: hours per week.
• Schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• Hybrid: 3 days/week in office.
Responsibilities:
• Draft and prepare legal correspondence and documents under attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and review legal journals to support cases.
• Assist attorneys with gathering employment, medical, and other case-related records.
• Attend legal meetings, hearings, or depositions and take detailed notes.
• Organize, maintain, and update case files, legal documents, and law libraries.
• Prepare, process, and file court documents including motions, appeals, and pretrial agreements.
What you will need to succeed:
• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent education.
• 5–7 years of paralegal or legal secretary experience.
• Experience preparing and processing legal documents such as summonses, motions, subpoenas, complaints, and pleadings.
• Experience conducting legal research, reviewing legal journals, researching precedents, and supporting legal proceedings.
• Working knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, and government regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach to work.
• Experience attending hearings, depositions, or client interviews.
• Ability to support and guide junior lawyers on document preparation.
• Strong organizational skills managing law libraries and case files.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
