As an Analyst in the Corporate Development Office (CDO), you will help execute high-priority strategic investments for Deloitte Canada and support the firm’s inorganic growth initiatives.

What will your typical day look like?

As part of the CDO, you will be responsible for supporting in all stages of the M&A lifecycle, including company identification, transaction execution, integration planning and monitoring. This may mean providing robust project management across various organizational functions during a due diligence process or leveraging your analytical skills in assessing the strategic fit of companies or in preparing valuation models.

About the team

The CDO leads Deloitte’s inorganic growth initiatives through high value M&A investments to expand the firm’s capabilities and network in priority areas to drive profitable growth and future proof our business. The CDO delivers value to the firm through strategic foresight, robust deal execution and post-merger integration as well as creative deal structuring. The CDO executed over 40 transactions in the last 8 years with ambitions to continue amplifying our impact. The CDO is a tight-knit team of 7 individuals with diverse backgrounds that collaborate directly with the firm’s leaders and other functional areas to make an impact that matters.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • General understanding of mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investment and/or in strategy development;
  • Proficiency in Excel financial modelling and PowerPoint presentation building;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • An inclusive team player who brings flexibility, humility, and professionalism to their work;
  • Curious, eager to learn, and self-motivated.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $48 500,00 - $55 000,00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
