About the job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Marketing Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $70–$78/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 20 hours/week Role Responsibilities Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on marketing problems. Produce original problem sets grounded in funnels, attribution charts, and segmentation diagrams. Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure task accuracy. Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI training data quality and model outputs. Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines. Qualifications Must-Have PhD in Marketing or Consumer Behavior, MBA in Marketing with 3+ years brand, digital, or strategy experience, or BA/BS in Marketing or Business with 5+ years applied marketing, analytics, or growth experience. Working fluency in at least two of: consumer behavior, branding, digital marketing, marketing analytics, pricing. Comfortable reading and interpreting funnels, attribution charts, and segmentation diagrams. Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
