Job description
Elevate your career at CNA as the Vice President for National Accounts Casualty. This executive role emphasizes strategic growth and effective underwriting leadership across complex accounts in Canada. In this essential position, you will guide CNA's National Accounts Casualty business, ensuring adherence to underwriting excellence and profitable growth. Leading a team, you will develop and direct strategies that align with corporate objectives while managing a diverse portfolio. You will act as the escalation point for complex underwriting decisions, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. Key Responsibilities: • Execute primary casualty underwriting strategies in National Accounts • Drive portfolio performance and repositioning initiatives • Assess underwriting effectiveness through financial analysis • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for governance and compliance • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the market Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred • 10-15 years of related experience with a focus on management • Expertise in casualty underwriting practices • Proven leadership and communication capabilities • Deep understanding of the Canadian insurance landscape Drive profitable growth within CNA’s National Accounts Casualty division, using your leadership skills to foster collaboration and excellence in underwriting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
