Adecco is currently hiring an Electrical Engineer / Project Manager for a full-time permanent opportunity in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineering professional who enjoys managing multidisciplinary projects, leading technical design work, and contributing to complex industrial, hydroelectric, commercial, and institutional projects across North America. In this position, you will oversee electrical engineering projects from proposal stage through to completion, ensuring strong project delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with budget and schedule requirements while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Salary: Up to $120,000 annually

Responsibilities- Design modifications to existing electrical systems or develop new electrical systems for industrial, hydroelectric, commercial, and institutional projects
- Manage and execute multiple projects from proposal stage through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule
- Prepare, review, and support technical specifications, engineering reports, and detailed documentation
- Prepare and review engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget objectives
- Support business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities with existing and prospective clients
- Manage, mentor, and support junior engineering staff
- Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, design work, and provide construction support as required
Qualifications- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with exposure to project management and budget/schedule tracking
- Eligible or registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba (EGM) or Ontario (PEO), or other Canadian provinces
- Previous consulting experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems up to MV or HV level
- Experience working on multi-discipline projects is required
- Experience in hydroelectric generation facilities is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code, Building Code, and relevant construction standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license required with willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Security clearance eligibility required
Experience with the following is considered an asset:- Electrical building systems (mechanical integration), fire alarm systems, structured cabling and networking, security systems, lighting and controls, intercom and paging systems, emergency systems, industrial controls, and hydro generating station systems
