Job description
Join eBay as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, championing technical leadership and collaboration to enhance machine learning systems in a fast-paced environment. In this Staff ML Engineer role, you will leverage your extensive experience to influence both short- and long-term technical strategies. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning systems critical to search products. As a mentor, you will encourage inclusive practices and foster teamwork to enhance engineering quality. Key Responsibilities: • Influence architectural decisions in ML and software initiatives • Align technical solutions with organizational product goals • Optimize machine learning systems for efficiency and performance • Lead multi-quarter technical projects using metrics • Evolve system architecture with a focus on scalability Requirements: • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related • 8+ years of software design experience • Demonstrated leadership in technical initiatives • Proven experience in deploying machine learning systems • Strong communication and collaboration skills Drive engineering excellence at eBay through innovative solutions and impactful leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
