Full Stack Developer – PHP / AWS

Permanent Position | Full-Time | Hybrid Work Model | Based in Montreal

We are currently partnering with a well-established Quebec-based organization in the digital media and web platforms industry looking to add a Full Stack Developer to its IT team.

The technology environment is modern and highly integration-oriented, including AWS, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, headless CMS and decoupled architecture. The team is looking for someone curious, proactive and versatile, who enjoys understanding how systems communicate together and wants to grow in a stimulating technical environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Full Stack web applications
• Participate in integrations between multiple platforms using REST APIs
• Develop and maintain features using WordPress, PHP and MySQL
• Work within an AWS environment using managed services
• Contribute to the evolution of a modern decoupled architecture
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI and infrastructure teams
• Participate in technical discussions and propose appropriate solutions
• Maintain and improve existing digital platforms

Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Full Stack web development
• Fluent in french (Oral & Written)
• Strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress and MySQL
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations
• Practical AWS experience
• Interest in modern architectures and interconnected systems
• Good communication skills in French
• Autonomous, curious and solution-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architecture or middleware
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript / Front-End frameworks
• Experience with headless CMS
• Experience working in complex AWS cloud environments
