Job description
This full-time opportunity in the industrial food processing industry is calling for a skilled Lead Machinist/Programmer to join a premier facility in Mississauga. Offering a competitive wage of $40 - $43 per hour, this role allows you to lead technical operations in a modern machine shop. You will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and a generous 15 days of paid annual vacation in this Mississauga-based position.

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for precise manufacturing of industrial food processing knives.
- Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes equipped with Fanuc controls.
- Interpret complex technical blueprints and customer-supplied engineering drawings.
- Program and run specialized Waterjet and Laser cutting machinery.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Lead Machinist/Programmer within the industrial food processing industry.
- Advanced proficiency in developing CNC toolpaths specifically using Mastercam software.
- Proven expertise in manual machining and the operation of lift trucks for material handling.
- Professional capability to provide engineering support and technical feasibility analysis for new designs.
