Job description
Join the Ministry of the Solicitor General as a Community Well-Being Lead in Ontario. This role emphasizes strategic leadership in mental health initiatives and community support initiatives.

As a vital member of the Community Well-Being Team, you will provide regional support in operational planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. Your expertise in addressing crime-related factors such as poverty and mental health will be crucial in fostering collaborative partnerships with various agencies to enhance community well-being across the province.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead strategic planning for community well-being initiatives • Develop policies and recommendations based on research • Engage stakeholders in collaborative initiatives • Analyze and evaluate mental health sector trends • Conduct trainings and represent at meetings

Requirements: • Ability to pass OPP background/security investigation • Education in mental health or relevant experience • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Knowledge of applicable legislation and policies • Willingness to travel across the Region/Province
