Assembler is responsible for the non electrical assembly and rework
A Day In The Life
- Ensure pulled parts for specific assemblies agree with Bill of Material
- Prepares sub-assemblies as necessary
- Assemble finished products using sub-assemblies and additional parts specified
- Operates a variety of equipment such as index tables, drill presses, soldering machine, air and electric presses, Hubbell drivers, electric grinder, wire strippers, air drivers, etc.
- Performs ongoing visual inspection
- Tests finished product
- Repairs to faulty assembly
- Product upgrade / conversion
- Prepares packing material
- Packages finished product and transports to Holding Area
- Clean-up of workstation
- Other duties related to assembly functions

- Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
- Work well with others
- Good housekeeping skills
- Continual standing and lifting
- Ability to do some heavy lifting
- Basic mathematics
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Valid equipment operating licenses will be required for Tow Motors and Man-up Order Picker or any additional equipment purchased by Hubbell

The expected hourly rate for this position is $22.58 per hour. Please note this range reflects base hourly rate only.Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
