Job descriptionTalent Acquisition Coordinator As a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Coordinator, your role will be crucial in helping a high‑performing team continue to deliver on our commitments. You will work closely with recruiters, leaders, and executives to respond to the business’s staffing needs.
If you do not have recruiting or HR experience, that is acceptable; we are looking for someone with strong administrative support experience who is interested in the HR/Recruiting field.
This is a 6‑month term with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Utilize the Application Tracking System (ATS) to manage full cycle recruitment, candidate relationship management, and metric reporting
Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews and balance activities to ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout
Create, review, and post jobs to various job boards and sites as necessary, send out for translation where necessary
Assist team with creating, planning, and implementing promotional and recruiting strategies designed to attract new candidates and build on the employment brand
Assist team with sourcing top talent using a variety of methods including job postings, all social media, networking, referrals, career fairs, campus visits, and direct sourcing/cold calling
Support the background screening process
Support the contract labor hiring process
Administer the employee referral program
Work with recruiters to prescreen candidates by phone and make recommendations with hiring managers
Support TA reporting
Manage TA related invoices
Assist with other adhoc administrative functions as required
Requirements
Proficient in French and English language
Experience in an HR/Talent Acquisition role or an equivalent combination of education and training would be an asset
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to work independently
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Familiarity/proficiency with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, all social media, and multiple search engines, job aggregators/propagators, etc.
Must possess strong oral/written communication skills
Demonstrated competency in working with competing priorities
Strong team‑oriented working style
Ability, tenacity, and drive to navigate through ambiguity and deliver relevant solutions effectively
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System would be an asset
The role can be based in either our Brampton or Montreal offices
Office days are Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays
Comments / Special Considerations Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
