Responsibilities
Using CMMS based system to order parts, update parts lists, add/remove parts numbers.
Parts procurement needs to ensure accurate and appropriate replacement parts and in appropriate quantities.
Attend downturn meetings and schedule preventative maintenance overhauls and tasks.
Update/modify PM schedules, tasks and jobs.
Participate on project team with shared management responsibilities as it pertains to mechanical or as assigned.
Select contractors on tasks pertaining to project responsibilities.
Planning and execution of downturns and semi‑annual outages.
Qualifications
Technician degree or better in mechanical or related.
Preference given to those with hands on experience in metals industry and those with developed troubleshooting skills able to think of creative solutions/contingency plans in a short period of time if necessary.
Preference given to those with hands on exposure to mechanics, millwrights, hydraulics, or welding.
Proficient with Windows 7 and above.
Proficient on Microsoft Office suite products.
Experience with CMMS systems preferred but not necessary.
Your Work Environment
A mix of an office and heavy manufacturing environments.
A mix of both regular M‑F Day shift with occasional after‑hours work both scheduled and unscheduled as required or as emergency needs arise.
