The Senior Manager, Suites plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional premium hospitality experience at Canada Life Centre, home of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. This role is responsible for overseeing all in-suite food and beverage operations across the Premium Suite Concourse, ensuring seamless execution and best-in-class service for suite holders and their guests.
Service & Guest Experience
Deliver a best‑in‑class premium suite experience across all events, including Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose games, concerts, and special events
Maintain a visible, hands‑on leadership presence on event days to ensure service excellence and real‑time issue resolution
Oversee execution of in‑suite food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy, quality, and presentation standards are consistently met
Identify and implement opportunities to elevate the suite experience, including enhancements to service, amenities, and product offerings
Collaborate on premium experience initiatives across adjacent spaces (e.g., PlayNow Lounge) to ensure a seamless end‑to‑end guest experience
Operations Management
Lead all suite‑level operations on event days, including preparation, execution, and post‑event reconciliation
Ensure all suites meet high standards of readiness, cleanliness, and product presentation prior to each event
Coordinate with True North Hospitality culinary and logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely food and beverage delivery
Monitor inventory, ordering processes, and in‑suite product usage to optimize efficiency and minimize waste and maintain accurate KPI tracking in alignment with TN Hospitality standards
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
Continuously evaluate and enhance suite service models, offerings, and operational processes to improve efficiency and elevate the guest experience
Recruit, train, schedule, and lead a team of full‑time and part‑time suite hosts and support staff
Set clear service standards and hold team members accountable for consistent, high‑quality execution
Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence
Identify and develop high‑potential team members, supporting talent growth and succession
Lead pre‑event briefings and post‑event debriefs to reinforce expectations and drive continuous improvement
Inspire and motivate team members to consistently exceed guest expectations in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment
Guest & Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with suite holders, playing a key role in overall client satisfaction and retention
Partner with Premium Services team to support renewals, upsell opportunities, and customer engagement initiatives
Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience that support increased in‑suite spend and long‑term customer value
Handle guest feedback with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution and proactive follow‑up
Support execution of key client moments and high‑profile events within the suite environment
Manage and optimize labor and operational costs within the suite environment
Support revenue performance by maximizing in‑suite food and beverage opportunities and execution
Review event orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations
Oversee billing accuracy and reconciliation processes
Contribute to reporting and analysis related to guest satisfaction, operational performance, and revenue growth
Support ongoing improvement of systems, tools, and processes within Premium Services
What we need from you
5+ years of experience in hospitality or food & beverage management (hotel, premium venue, or private club preferred)
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire both a high‑performing team
Strong understanding of premium food and beverage operations and service delivery
Experience in a fast‑paced, event‑driven or sports and entertainment environment is an asset
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain composure and deliver results under pressure
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills with experience resolving conflicts and collaborating across diverse teams
Highly reliable with excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, motivated approach to responsibilities
High attention to detail with integrity to elevate guest experience
Valid Manitoba Smart Choices (or equivalent) certification required
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 20 lbs
Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with event schedules
