Position: Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm

Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,000

YOUR ROLE IN DRIVING SUCCESS
This is an execution-first, hands-on role for someone who loves being in the details of great content, digital marketing, community building, and brand storytelling. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll help bring the Ddrops brand to life through social media, email, paid channels, earned media, and our growing online community, keeping campaigns moving, conversations thriving, press coverage growing, and our audience engaged.
Social media & content creation
- Manage day-to-day social execution across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and , including scheduling and posting.
- Create compelling, on-brand short-form content, including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and static posts that speak to parents, caregivers, and wellness seekers.
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and relevant health/wellness and parenting conversations to bring timely ideas to the content calendar.
- Coordinate content shoots, helping with logistics, briefing, and asset management.
- Support influencer and creator partnerships through outreach, gifting coordination, and deliverable tracking.
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, including photography, video, and written copy.
Paid social support
- Assist with the setup, trafficking, and performance monitoring of paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.
- Compile weekly performance reports and help maintain dashboards tracking key metrics including ROAS, CAC, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Support creative testing by organizing assets, documenting results, and tracking learnings across campaigns.
Community management
- Own the Ddrops online community as the primary voice responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, warm, and on-brand way.
- Develop and execute a community engagement strategy that builds genuine relationships with parents, caregivers, and health-conscious consumers.
- Identify and nurture brand advocates, loyal customers, and UGC creators — turning fans into long-term community members.
- Monitor brand sentiment and surface recurring themes or concerns to marketing and product teams.
- Set and track community KPIs, including response rate, engagement rate, sentiment score, and community growth.
- Coordinate PR and influencer initiatives to amplify community voices and integrate user stories into brand campaigns.
Analytics & reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social, email, and digital campaigns, translating data into actionable insights.
Email & digital campaigns
- Help build, schedule, and QA email and SMS campaigns from copy to deployment to post-send reporting.
- Assist with list segmentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle flows to improve open rates, click-through, and conversion.
Additional responsibilities
- Support product launches and campaign coordination, ensuring all pieces come together on time and on brand.
- Stay current on digital and health trends and the competitive landscape.
- Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Education/Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum one year of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, and/or public relations.
- Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and .
- Practical experience using Google Analytics and Google Ads to monitor performance and support campaign optimization.
- Google Ads Certification, Google Analytics Certification (GAIQ), or other recognized digital marketing certifications (e.g., HubSpot Content Marketing, Meta Blueprint) are considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Solid foundational knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and best practices across social, email, paid, and owned media.
- Proficiency in core digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, and Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot, including campaign execution, list segmentation, and A/B testing.
- Hands-on experience creating short-form video content and social content across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and similar platforms, with a strong sense of what performs well organically.
- Graphic and visual content creation skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express for social media assets and marketing collateral.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress for content publishing and basic site updates.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page best practices; experience with tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs is considered an asset.
- Ability to assist with paid media management across search and social platforms, including budget tracking and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly through reports and dashboards
