Every day, you are part of a team that delivers superior experiences and products, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our industry and beyond. By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise.

What are your contributions to the team? In your role, you will be reporting to the Engineering EMC Section Chief. The Professional Sr. – Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) role is a multifaceted position within the Functional engineering department. Review associated engineering documentation such as test procedures, test reports and analysis reports. Verify compliance with certification regulations and recommend for approval.

Provide guidance to junior team members and interns.

Support creation and updating of technical requirements for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics.

Represent the EMC team at multidisciplinary meetings. Engage with internal and external suppliers, partners, and clients.

Support improvements to Bombardier processes and best practices.

Support and witness EMC tests in Canada, the United States, Europe or elsewhere as needed.
