We are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our Security Technology team at our Burnaby office.Be part of a team that designs and delivers complex security systems for critical infrastructure-including police stations, hospitals, and hydroelectric dams-that help keep our communities safe.We're looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and Estimators across multiple active projects. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate project information, coordinating key workflows, supporting submittals, tracking materials, updating internal systems, and assisting with closeout documentation.This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Apply now and help shape the future of security in BC.Here's how your role will strengthen our team.Your responsibilitiesSupport Project Managers and Estimators with coordination, administration, and documentation across multiple active projectsMaintain organized project files, drawings, specifications, submittals, records, and tracking logs in accordance with company standardsCoordinate and track submittals, RFIs, materials, equipment, supplier order status, deliveries, and outstanding project itemsCommunicate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to support timely information flow and project coordinationAttend meetings, prepare minutes, track action items, and follow up on key deliverablesUpdate CRM and internal systems to keep project information accurate and currentSupport project closeout, including operations and maintenance manuals (O&M), warranties, and turnover documentationYour experience and skillsHigh School Diploma2+ years of experience in a similar project coordination or administrative support roleExperience with document control, file management, scheduling, data entry, meeting minutesStrong computer skills using MS Office, including Word, Outlook, ExcelHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and team player with strong customer service skillsFlexible and comfortable working in a changing, fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Security Technology Systems including access control, CCTV and intrusion detection, is an assetAbout HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future.
