Job description
Transform Canada's mining landscape as a Project Director at WSP. Lead complex energy and industrial projects while managing diverse teams to ensure client success in Ontario's Greater Toronto Area or Sudbury. WSP is seeking a seasoned Project Director with over 20 years of project management expertise in mining and heavy industries. Your role involves leading Project Managers, Area Managers, and project engineers to achieve excellence in project delivery. Your responsibilities include developing comprehensive project management plans focused on risk, safety, and quality, while managing budgets and timelines efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Lead multi-phase mining and industrial project planning across Canada • Develop and implement risk and communication strategies • Oversee budget and schedule adherence for projects • Mentor engineering managers and project teams for excellence • Build client relationships and identify growth opportunities Requirements: • 20+ years in mining and heavy industrial project management • Proven EPCM project management success • Engineering degree or diploma; PMP certification preferred • Expertise in risk management and stakeholder engagement • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools Shape the future of energy projects in Canada by excelling in governance, leadership, and innovative growth opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
