Job descriptionPurpose We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for quality and experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and API testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results and report to stakeholders.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Identify, document and track bugs.
Contribute to performance testing and load testing when required.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress or similar.
Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST API.
Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Git.
Experience with SQL or data validation tools.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA processes and best practices.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is an asset.
Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries is a bonus.
Working Conditions Work in a standard office‑based environment.
