Job description
Lead the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 as its Director. Engage strategically with the Board while overseeing operational efficiencies and fostering cultural understanding. This executive leadership role demands senior experience in operational and financial management within cultural institutions. You will direct the Museum’s resources, support national and international outreach, and advance its mission to enhance public understanding of immigration’s impact on Canada's fabric. Key Responsibilities: • Provide corporate leadership and strategic direction • Manage the Museum’s operational and financial performance • Represent the Museum at national and international levels • Develop and execute outreach and fundraising strategies • Foster an inclusive and equitable workplace culture Requirements: • Relevant degree in culture or heritage studies • Senior executive experience in complex organizations • Expertise in public programming and audience engagement • Proven track record in strategic change leadership • Bilingual proficiency preferred for effective stakeholders' communication Embrace a role that champions diversity and culture while leading the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. #J-18808-Ljbffr
