Job description
Contribute to the Region of Durham in Whitby, Ontario as a Works Technician 3 focused on asset management. This key role is essential for monitoring maintenance activities and improving operational efficiency. As an integral part of the Sustainable Infrastructure team, you will develop maintenance programs aligned with equipment performance. Your responsibilities include managing inventory, conducting life cycle analysis through CMMS, and presenting asset performance reports to leadership. This position calls for excellent interpersonal and analytical skills while working within a diverse team. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies • Maintain critical parts inventory and equipment • Analyze equipment life cycles via CMMS • Coordinate with Plant staff for system updates • Assist with interpreting construction drawings Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma in relevant engineering technology • Several years of related work experience in maintenance • Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo • Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS applications • Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License Apply your engineering skills and contribute to sustainable asset management at the Region of Durham. #J-18808-Ljbffr
