Elevate your tax career with the Senior Tax Leader position at General Motors Canada. This hybrid role demands expertise in corporate income tax and indirect taxes while fostering strong business partnerships. In this key role, you'll oversee all Canadian tax matters while acting as a trusted advisor to leadership. Your responsibilities span compliance, planning, and risk management within corporate income and indirect tax frameworks. The position requires a candidate with extensive tax experience and an ability to translate complex tax issues into actionable business strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Direct preparation and timely filing of tax returns • Identify tax planning opportunities for business growth • Manage income tax compliance and reporting processes • Provide tax implications assessments for new initiatives • Collaborate on transfer pricing with global teams Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of tax experience in a multinational context • Excellent leadership skills in tax compliance and reporting • In-depth knowledge of Canadian tax laws • Advanced professional tax credentials preferred • Proficient in tax compliance software and reporting tools Drive tax initiatives at General Motors, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment across Canadian operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
