About the Role


We are currently searching for a passionate, dedicated and driven Nurse Educator. This field-based customer-facing position will be responsible to support healthcare professionals who provide care to patients with schizophrenia by offering training and assistance related to the Clozaril Support and Assistance Network (CSAN), ensuring the appropriate and safe use of Clozaril.


Territory: British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan


Responsibilities


  • Providing healthcare professionals with information on treatment-resistant schizophrenia, Clozaril, and the CSAN through training sessions.
  • Responding to inquiries from mental health professionals and proactively identifying opportunities for training, patient care improvement, and optimal use of HLS neuroscience products.
  • Maintaining contact with patient care providers in your territory and taking necessary actions to ensure all patients’ blood test results are available, as recommended by Canadian authorities.
  • Building strong professional relationships and networks, acting as a liaison between HLS Therapeutics and stakeholders in mental health centers.
  • Collaborating with all levels of the mental healthcare team, internal HLS stakeholders, and HLS medical advisors to optimize care for patients experiencing hematological side effects.
  • Promptly responding to clinical inquiries from clients as needed.
  • Identifying and collaborating with other HLS field-based clinical resources (medical science liaisons, clinical research associates, sales team, Neuroscience) to meet client needs.
  • Serving as a key resource for other HLS staff regarding treatment-resistant schizophrenia by deepening and applying your knowledge of HLS and competitor neuroscience products.


Qualifications


  • University degree in a health-related field such as nursing, pharmacy, medicine, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry as a healthcare professional.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
