Program Manager – Operations Transformation (Contract)
Location: Hybrid (Onsite Tues–Thurs), Waterloo, ON,
Pay Rate: $50 Per hour+ 4% Vacation Pay
Contract Duration: June 1, 2026 – December 4, 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, core business hours

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Project Manager to support the AdminAdvantage Operations team during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This role will play a central part in coordinating operational change initiatives, launching new client services, and supporting the final stages of multiple automation programs as the organization transitions to a future‑state Target Operating Model.
Reporting to the AVP, AdminAdvantage Operations, you will act as a key connector between strategy, delivery, and day‑to‑day operations—providing structure, clarity, and momentum in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
📌 Program & Delivery Management
- Develop and manage integrated project roadmaps aligning automation, new services, and operating model changes
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; proactively resolve blockers
- Serve as the central coordination point across multiple operational sub‑teams
⚙️ Automation & Process Enablement
- Partner with operations and technology teams to support change readiness
- Identify and address operational impacts of automation initiatives
- Support transition planning from manual or legacy processes to automated solutions
🧭 Operating Model & Organizational Readiness
- Support the design and implementation of the Target Operating Model
- Assess readiness impacts across people, processes, tools, and ways of working
- Develop and execute readiness plans covering training, role clarity, capacity, and sequencing of change
- Prepare teams for increased scale, new services, and new ways of working
🤝 Change & Stakeholder Management
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable execution plans
- Facilitate planning workshops, leadership sessions, and alignment forums
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders
- Reinforce transparency, clarity, and shared understanding throughout the organization
📊 Governance & Reporting
- Establish governance forums, reporting cadences, and decision frameworks
- Deliver concise, executive‑level updates to senior leadership
- Maintain clear, current documentation, including roadmaps, plans, and process artifacts
Measures of Success
- Clear, actionable roadmaps supporting the AdminAdvantage Operations future state
- Improved organizational readiness for new services, automation, and operating model changes
Required Qualifications (Must‑Have)
- 6+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- Proven experience supporting large‑scale operational or organizational transformation
- Strong end‑to‑end delivery and roadmap ownership
- Experience assessing and preparing people, process, and tooling impacts
- Exposure to automation initiatives and process transitions
- Strong senior‑level stakeholder communication and influence skills
- Operations‑focused background (non‑IT delivery)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)
- Insurance industry experience
- Target Operating Model design or implementation experience
- Executive governance and reporting experience
- Workshop facilitation and planning expertise
- Strong PowerPoint and executive storytelling skills
- Comfort working in ambiguity and fast‑changing environments
- PMP, Prosci, or similar certification

- This role is not suitable for candidates with a fully IT‑focused background
