Our Mission is “to serve our community by providing supportive resident-focused care that promotes quality of life.” As a not-for-profit municipally owned and subsidized long-term care home, with 206 beds, all of our resources are dedicated to our residents.

In A Nutshell: The Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens located in Leamington is recruiting for Temporary Part Time- Housekeeping Aides.
Under the direction of the Manager of Building Services, the Housekeeping Aide provides housekeeping services to the residents to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Day In The Life: Responsible for assisting in maintaining and cleaning all areas of the Home including but not limited to resident rooms, washrooms, common and staff areas.
Carbolize resident room furnishings upon admission, discharge or transfer.
Washes interior windows and walls.
Cares for plants, takes and returns clothing for marking in the laundry.
Attend meetings and in-service lectures.
Follows appropriate procedures for fire safety and disaster plans.
Other job-related duties as assigned by management.
What We Are Looking For: Secondary School Diploma Previous Housekeeping experience Must be fluent in oral and written English Must be capable of performing physically demanding job tasks.
Ability to work all shifts including every other weekend and midnight shifts.
