Tâches

  • Mesurer, découper, façonner et assembler les éléments en bois, en aggloméré, en acier léger ou d'autres matériaux
  • Ériger des fondations, installer des poutres de plancher, poser le support de revêtement de sol, monter des éléments préassemblés de charpente et de toiture
  • Ajuster et installer des fenêtres, des portes, des escaliers et de la quincaillerie
  • Apprendre le métier aux apprentis

Titres de compétence (certificats, permis, affiliations, cours, etc.)

  • Formation pour le travail en hauteur
  • Certificat en secourisme
  • Certificat en Systèmes d'information sur les matières dangereuses en milieu de travail (SIMDUT)
  • Sceau Rouge de charpentier/charpentière
  • Cours de protection anti-chute
  • Certificat en Systèmes de formation en sécurité dans la construction
