Job description
Join our team as a Unit Chef, assisting in food preparation and supervising kitchen staff. Your culinary skills and leadership will shine in our busy kitchen environment. Candidates should have at least four years of culinary supervisory experience and hold a FoodSafe Level 1 Certification. In this role, you will take responsibility for food service operations, ensuring compliance with safety laws and high standards in food preparation and sanitation. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential for success. Key Responsibilities: • Cook and prepare food according to standards • Supervise scheduling and training for kitchen staff • Adhere to food safety and sanitation laws • Maintain high-quality food presentation and service • Engage with customers to resolve dining concerns Requirements: • Four years of supervisory experience in culinary settings • Required FoodSafe Level 1 Certification • Relevant post-secondary education in culinary arts • Experience in banquet and catering is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Lead our kitchen team as a Unit Chef and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. #J-18808-Ljbffr
