Description & Requirements

who we are

lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.

about this team

Investor Relations is the liaison between Wall Street and lululemon's senior leadership team. We work closely with senior management to craft messaging related to our financial performance, prep for earnings calls, and analyze peer performance. We act as the main point of contact for analysts and investors who follow and/or invest in our stock. We maintain strong relationships with all constituents, both internal and external.

core responsibilities

The role owns the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of earnings communications, analyst engagement, and investor materials, while supporting activist and shareholder interactions in partnership with the VP, Investor Relations, Legal, and Finance Leadership. This role directly influences external perception, investor confidence, and market understanding of lululemon's strategy and performance.

The successful candidate will be speaking independently with analysts and investors, working on scripts for the earnings call and other supporting materials. In addition, they will be interacting with various members of our senior leadership team frequently and independently.

  • Drafting of quarterly and annual earnings scripts, Q&A materials, and investor presentations.
  • Engage directly with the sell-side analyst and investor communities following earnings releases.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with select sell-side analysts, including financial model review and narrative clarification.
  • Support engagement with activist investors through preparation of materials, analysis, and messaging.
  • Partner directly with members of the SLT, Legal, FP&A, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Development teams to craft our narrative to Wall Street.
  • Monitor investor sentiment, analyst reporting, and market trends to identify reputational and narrative risks and suggest and craft our response.
  • Prepare Board-level materials related to investor relations strategy, shareholder feedback, and external perception.

qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent capital markets qualification preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, or a related capital markets role within a public company environment.
  • Deep understanding of earnings processes, analyst models, valuation methodologies, and capital markets dynamics.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment in high pressure, externally visible environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating complex financial information for external audiences.
  • Experience partnering closely with Legal and senior leadership on sensitive disclosures and investor communications.

must haves
  • Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.
  • Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
  • Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
  • Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn't take yourself too seriously.

Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.
