We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Peoplesoft Program Manager for our client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client, a large post-secondary institution, is undertaking a major PeopleSoft transformation program representing a multi-million-dollar investment across several strategic enterprise initiatives spanning Campus Solutions (CS), Financial & Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM). The program supports more than 2,500 employees and 40,000+ students and is focused on modernizing and stabilizing enterprise systems supporting critical academic and administrative operations.
The successful consultant will oversee a complex portfolio of interdependent PeopleSoft initiatives operating as a unified transformation program. This engagement includes coordination across multiple stakeholders, external consulting partners, governance committees, and institutional business units during a high-volume delivery period involving overlapping projects and competing resource demands.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will provide executive-level program leadership, portfolio coordination, financial oversight, stakeholder management, and governance support across a large-scale PeopleSoft transformation portfolio. You will work closely with IT leadership, Finance, HR, Payroll, the Office of the Registrar, and executive governance committees to ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- 10+ years of IT program and project management experience managing complex enterprise initiatives
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and budgets ($5M+)
- Hands-on PeopleSoft implementation and enterprise application program experience
- Strong experience managing interdependencies across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
- Experience leading governance, steering committee, RAID management, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Strong financial and resource management experience including forecasting, burn-rate tracking, and capacity planning
- Experience managing vendors, consultants, Statements of Work (SOWs), and procurement coordination
- PMP certification required
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Nice-to-have:
- Experience within higher education or broader public sector environments
- Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, Payroll, or Campus Solutions environments
- PgMP, MBA, Agile, or Scrum certifications
- Knowledge of enterprise governance frameworks, PMO methodologies, and organizational change management practices
- Experience operating in unionized or highly matrixed environments

Location: Hybrid – Oakville, Ontario
Duration: 20-month contract / Start date: May 25, 2026
Work hours: Standard business hours
PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
- Senior: 10+ years of experience — $125–$150/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
