Job description

What- the Role:
We are seeking a new Supply Chain Analyst who will support the planning and execution of the Company’s global supply chain plans, analyzing for reliability, cost, and value.

Additionally, the Analyst will work on supply & demand reporting, tactical plans, risk analysis, market planning, regional assessments, etc. The Analyst will also support the annual budgeting process, take part in ad hoc analysis, support business decision making, and implement new supply chain KPIs.
We are seeking an intelligent, curious, driven, and well-rounded Analyst who takes pride in producing top quality work. The Analyst will collaborate with colleagues across a variety of teams such as finance, IT, finance, accounting, operations, marketing, sourcing & procurement, etc. Swim Recruiting will provide interested candidates with a detailed job description.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for Finance and/pr Supply Chain professionals who enjoy engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with high-performing professionals. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role, as is a calm, cool, and collected work style. Candidates must have experience in an operational business involving supply chain of a tangible product.

  • Education & Qualifications-
    • Relevant post-secondary degree is required- in finance, engineering, business, or commerce.
    • Pursuit of other qualifications such as MBA-Finance, CPA designation, or CFA certification are highly regarded but not required.
  • Work Experience-
    • Experience working in an Analyst role with an emphasis on supply chain and logistics is required
    • At least 2 years’ relevant and progressive analytical experience,
  • Systems-
    • Proficiency in Excel is required!
    • Experience presenting analytical findings via presentations in PowerPoint.
    • Experience using a sophisticated ERP is an asset.
    • PowerBI is an asset
    • Experience using Demand and Supply Chain Planning Software is beneficial, not required.
  • Global-
    • Experience with a global portfolio is highly preferred…. the more countries the better, as this company has operations in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and Africa!
  • Industry-
    • Experience working in energy, natural resources, industrial, or transportation/shipping/logistics sectors is required.
    • Experience working with a public company is highly preferred.

Where- Headquarters:

Downtown Vancouver. Hybrid. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Once they are fully trained and onboarded, the Analyst can choose to work from home up to 2 days a week.

How Much:

This company provides a very robust total compensation package. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, likely in the range of $85,000 to $97,000, with a sweet spot in the early to mid $90,000s. Possibly a bit of wiggle room beyond that for someone who has highly relevant work experience, skills, and qualifications.
Additionally, the Supply Chain Analyst will be eligible for a very generous amount of paid time off (almost 6 weeks in total!), a competitive performance-based bonus, a solid pension plan, great health & dental benefits, an annual health allowance, an employee share purchase program, and other perks- please discuss further with SWIM.
