Lead a high-performing mechanical engineering team at WSP in Kelowna or Kamloops, BC. Shape operations while focusing on recruitment, mentorship, and business development for various sectors.
In this leadership role, you will empower a growing team of mechanical engineers and designers, promoting a collaborative culture aligned with WSP’s values. Your focus will include providing technical guidance, overseeing major projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes in the healthcare, education, and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities: • Recruit and mentor mechanical engineers and designers • Provide technical leadership on project consistency • Identify new business opportunities across multiple sectors • Act as primary client contact for satisfaction • Oversee mechanical system design and compliance
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering • P.Eng. registration in British Columbia • 8+ years in consulting mechanical engineering • Proven leadership in high-performing teams • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP desirable
