French and English Bilingual Copywriter - Strategic Storyteller

Cella by Randstad Digital is partnering with a prominent leader in the financial services sector to identify a high-caliber Copywriter specializing in Strategic Storytelling. We are seeking a narrative expert who can translate complex financial concepts into compelling, high-stakes presentations and thought leadership content.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice of a major institution within the group insurance and retirement savings landscape. As this is a project-based role, you will play a critical part in high-profile events, crafting speeches and narratives that position our client as a visionary in their field.

Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to communicate with English speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis

Responsibilities
Synthesize & Strategize: Transform complex data from briefs, market research, and marketing plans into clear, concise, and persuasive strategic content.

Narrative Development: Design the central theme and narrative arc for major presentations to engage audiences of employers, brokers, and consulting firms.

Content Creation: Write high-impact speeches, blog articles, promotional summaries, and white papers that align with the organization’s brand voice and tone.

In-Depth Research: Conduct thorough research into industry issues and context to ensure all content is authoritative and insightful.

Multifaceted Execution: Manage the production of all associated content for industry events, ensuring a cohesive story is told across all channels.

Qualifications
Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the financial sector, specifically regarding group insurance and group retirement savings plans.

Master Storyteller: Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to turn data into engaging, story-based presentations.

Linguistic Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Self-Starter Mentality: A high degree of autonomy, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously.

Technical Setup: Ability to work remotely using your own computer equipment.

Project Management: Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage project lifecycles effectively.
